Blockhertz (“Blockhertz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Muhammad Asif, a sole proprietor trading as Blockhertz, based in Karachi, Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through blockhertz.com and our AI tools (AI Architect, AI Auditor, and any future tools made available under blockhertz.com/tools), how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using our website or tools, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Section 1: Who We Are

Blockhertz is a blockchain development agency and AI tooling platform. This policy covers:

• blockhertz.com/tools — our AI Architect, AI Auditor, and related tools, including account sign-in and the user dashboard

Section 2: Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: name and email address, collected when you create an account via Clerk (our authentication provider) to use the tools dashboard.
• Contact form submissions: name, email, company, and message content when you reach out via our contact form.
• Smart contract code and project descriptions: the code you paste into AI Auditor, and the project descriptions you enter into AI Architect, in order to generate your audit report or architecture diagram.
• Payment information: if you purchase credits or a subscription, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We do not receive or store your full card details — Lemon Squeezy handles this in compliance with PCI-DSS.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage data: which tools you use, how many audits or architectures you generate, and timestamps of activity, so we can enforce free-tier usage limits and show your history in the dashboard.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, used for rate-limiting free tool usage and basic security monitoring.
• Cookies: used by Clerk for authentication sessions, and for basic site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Section 3: How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your Blockhertz account
• Run your smart contract audits and generate your architecture diagrams
• Save your audit and architecture history to your dashboard (for signed-in users)
• Process payments and manage credit balances or subscriptions via Lemon Squeezy
• Enforce free-tier daily usage limits for anonymous and free-tier users
• Respond to contact form submissions and support requests
• Send transactional emails (audit report copies, account notifications, payment receipts)
• Maintain the security and reliability of our services
• Improve our tools based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns

Section 4: Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on the following service providers (“data processors”) to operate Blockhertz:

When you submit a smart contract or project description, that content is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for analysis and is not permanently stored by Anthropic beyond what is necessary to generate the response, per Anthropic’s own data handling terms.

Section 5: Data Retention

• Audit reports, contract code, and generated architectures: retained for 90 days from the date of creation, after which they are automatically deleted from our database. If you are signed in, you can view, export, or delete your history at any time before this period ends via your dashboard.
• Account information: retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@blockhertz.com.
• Payment records: retained as required by Lemon Squeezy and applicable tax law, independent of our own retention schedule.
• Contact form submissions: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and resolve your inquiry.

Section 6: Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your audit/architecture history before the 90-day retention period ends
• Withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time

Section 7: Children’s Privacy

Blockhertz is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use our tools. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Section 8: Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authentication via Clerk, and rate-limiting to prevent abuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Section 9: International Data Transfers

Our service providers (Clerk, Neon, Anthropic, Resend, Cloudinary, Upstash, Lemon Squeezy, Vercel) may process and store data outside of Pakistan, including in the United States and European Union. By using Blockhertz, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Section 10: Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Blockhertz after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
